so my worst nightmare has come true. months upon months of being TERRIFIED of these little f*ckers, i found a bed bug on my couch on Wednesday (it is now Friday). we have no idea how it got here, but i don't think that really matters. we had our building's exterminator come in today and he confirmed it being a FEMALE ADULT BED BUG. This terrifies me because i know that the females lay so many eggs a day. he checked all 5 beds (mine, my three brothers, and my parents' beds) and all three couches. he did not find anything. but told us that we will know if we get anymore in about 10 days since that is when the eggs usually hatch. he said our matresses and couches are clean.. however, i woke up today to 5 bites on my lower back.. classic bed bug bites.. all in lines.. even though i have terrible skin (i have eczema and dry skin) i knew they were bed bug bites. and the exterminator said that there was blood in the bug we found since we killed it and put it in a zip lock baggy. so i'm assuming that the bug i found bit me and i kinda noticed an itchy spot yesterday but today i really felt it as soon as i woke up. I know how annoying these fu*kers are so we're trying to nip it in the bud and protect ourselves before it gets worse. i'm just absolutely devastated because i've done everything to try and protect myself. we've had company over recently so maybe one of our house guests gave them to us. anyway, he told us to get box spring encasements, and we're gonna buy a vacuum cleaner tomorrow to clean the couches and beds from all the dirt in them. he also told us to buy Sterifab disinfectant spray. does anyone know about this? we don't know where to buy it and we don't wanna buy it online cause it's gonna take too long. anyway, do you guys know where we can buy the spray and the encasements? i'm terrified of whats to come.. i'm trying to stay positive but this honestly is my worst nightmare coming true. my 18th birthday's coming up soon and i'm just so disgusted this had to happen at this time. anyway...we stripped all of our beds and i'm currently washing all of our bedding in hot and warm water and i put everything in driers for 60 minutes (1 hour) on hot heat. i just..i'm so upset. please someone tell me where we should take it from now...
i'm so nervous. please don't tell me that this is going to be hell to defeat, because i'm well aware. just please tell me about what we can do so we don't get a bad infestation and can get these fu*kers out of my house if there continues to be more.

thanks..i'm sorry this is so long.

Don't forget, while playing detective, to check behind the picture frames and under the lamps. Any crevice can be a hiding location. The bed bugs locate there victim by zeroing in on the carbon dioxide coming off of the victim's breath, similar to how a mesquito finds there victim and next meal. Do as much research as you can on the internet so you become well informed about there living conditions as humanely possible.

I recently discovered these bastards in my apartment..never had them my whole life. But all u need is these 4 things.....garbage bags, rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle, a good vacuum cleaner, and DIATOMACEOUS EARTH. You can buy this by the bag and in a bottle dispenser at most hardware stores and online. Bag up all your clothes and toys for about a week or so. Flip your mattresses over and remove that fabric that is usually on box springs. Put a dusting mask on to protect you from the de. Then vacuum the **** out of the box spring, and all vacuum any crevices and under tags ect on the mattress. Spray the inside of the box spring with rubbing alcohol. Then dust the inside in all cracks and crevices of the box spring. Also dust the edges of the mattress. What also helps is to coat the bed frame legs with oil and puff de on them to keep the assholes from climbing up and pull your beds away from the wall and not have any linen touch the floor. Depending on how infested you are, you may need to invest in mattress encasements, which can be found online and at stores like Walmart. Then spray/ dust the insides of dressers, picture frames ect and vacuum the floor thoroughly and dispose of the contents OUTSIDE. Vacuum the insides of your sofas and chairs and apply de in the cracks and crevices. You may need to repeat this process over the next few weeks. And make sure linens and bedding gets washed in hot *** water and dried on high heat. The alcohol really helps because it keeps from too much diatomaceous earth from flying everywhere and beg bugs hate alcohol and it kills as well. Oh yeah, also puff dry de in the cracks around outlet covers and along baseboards...I heard these are classic bed bug hideouts. Not only will you kill the ******* like this but any other pests that may be hanging out in your crib. Good luck and don't give up. Remember, Diatomaceous earth and rubbing alcohol are your top allies in the war against bed bugs....and believe me it truly is a war.

There exists specific similarity relating to the bedbug and mosquito bites, with the exception that bedbug bites are usually more round. If you have to choose between bed bug and mosquito bites, we presume you will pick mosquito bites. After all, the best factor is usually to search for a recommendation from your local pest patrol to be able to eliminate these kinds of parasites. However, there are several measures you can consider so as to avoid bedbugs from stepping into your own home.
