There's a product called Spot-X. I used it on my car when nothing would get water stains from a sprinkler off. I tried Windex, Vinegar, Car Washes everything and nothing would get hard water off. It doesn't contain chemicals, instead it is a powder that you make into a paste with a special cloth. It is amazing! Try it!

You do not want to use anything that will scratch the glass doors. Baking soda and such work with abrasion, and can scratch.

Use some non-scratch Comet powder. Scrub with a sponge or cloth. Rinse well. It might take a few rounds to get all the soap scum up.

Once it is gone. Dry the glass and apply Rain-ex. It will help with future build up. You'll have to re-apply the rain-ex after you use chemicals to clean the glass.

I have well water, and the comet keeps the glass crystal clear.

Well Let me tell you this...

I own a cleaning co.and we come across this all the time....

FIRST OFF

Do you have well water????

If you do.. It is lime Deposits...It dont matter if you have a water softener

Anyways.Mix Baking Soda and Vinegar Make a paste and rub it on ..let it sit for 45 min

that should do the trick .. if not you have to go to a hardware store and get some Commercial Grade Tub and shower cleaner....

Make sure you wipe down the doors every time you get out so it doesnt built up

I agree with the answer above (baking soda and white vinegar).

The vinegar is mildly acidic and the baking soda is mildly abrasive ... best of all, NO fumes and NO chemicals! Both vinegar and baking soda are environmentally friendly and are perfectly safe to breathe ... actually, both are natural air-fresheners.

If you have hard-water deposits, you will need CLR or LimeAway to get rid of those, but for routine cleaning, the vinegar/baking soda mixture will keep your shower doors (and lots of other surfaces around your home) looking great.

Dawn dishwashing liquid and a Mr Clean magic eraser. Soap scum is hard to remove because it is full of body oils and oil from the shampoo and soaps we use. Dawn dishwashing liquid cuts through the oil. I started using it about two months ago, and it works great! The best part is, there are no toxic fumes to deal with.

Buy a squeegee and spray the doors with windex, use the squeegee to wipe it all away. After a shower use the squeegee to wipe the door of the moisture and leave the door open to dry . If you are still having trouble use rubbing alcohol 1cup mixed with 1/4th water and apply with a soft cloth or a sponge, that should help.

Try the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I use it on my shower door and it cleans the glass and the chrome nicely.

Scrub down with baking soda rinse then put rain x ( a additive for car windshields ) this will stop the water spots and your shower doors will be shiny clean.

Use Windex a good solution to cleaning windows/glass.

Or use some combination for a little bleach (very little) and some other soapie stuff you have in your house.
