Our bathroom mirror has a HUGE residue of aquanet on it and every time I try to clean it, there is huge streaking and then it "fogs" the mirror. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get a streak free shine with a huge amount of buildup?

Go to walmart or any department store and get GOO GONE. It can come in a spray bottle or a capped bottle. That will take anything off anything and then you just clean the mirror like always after you remove the residue.

I use white vinegar straight out of the bottle to remove hair product build up on the floors and mirror in my bathroom. It works great. You many have to do the mirror several times with a fresh paper towel for each time.

Did you know that most hairsprays are actually made from polyurethane? To get the residue off, simply use paint thinner on a rag and go over the mirror several times, then use windex.

A large dose of "rubbing alcohol" should remove the lacquer on the mirror! Soak a paper towel with the R.A. - and rub away!

I've had good luck with ammonia, and with rubbing alcohol. Not together! Either/or
