I accidentally put a white top in a load of laundry with a burgundy tablecloth and of course the burgundy colour ran into the white. How do I whiten my top again? Thanks for your help.

The quickest way is bleach. Its harder on the cloth than other ways.
Clorox 2 is excellent, soak the garment for three days in a small bucket with a concentrated amount of clorox 2 in it. Then dump the whole thing in the washer and wash seperately.

I have done that before. I just put the white shirt in a load of white clothes with bleach and wash again. The shirt will be as good as new. Good luck!

Sometimes that "Oxy Clean" type cleaner will do the trick. I had some blue get all over some white tops once and I soaked them in the "Oxy Clean" stuff from the dollar store. All the unwanted color came out.

You could bleach but that is hard on clothing I would try a dye remover I used one on a pair of white pants and the run came right out.

Get the product called Whitex.. if the colour is a dark colour you might need to use it 3 times!
Get 3 boxes! Whitex is available at most stores! It might be cheaper just to get a new top!

Simply soak the shirt in a sink full of water and one scoop of regular Tide. Then wash in a normal load of whites. It works.

If cotton use solution of bleach.
If polyester enjoy new shade of clothing...
Some fabrics will 'wash' out but some will be burgundy forever!!!

As long as you have not dried it yet , you can use the stuff from walmart by the dyes. But once a fabric is dried a stain is usually impossible to get out.

set your washing machine to the lowest water level, put in a cup of bleach and let set for and hour then run the wash with detergent and it should get it back to normal.

Ritz dye has a remover. Any fabric store or even Walmart will have that product.

Rub the spots with Tide and let it sit for a couple days and wash by it self and that should do it. I have done it and it worked for me.

If all of that doesn't work, consider doing a solid or tie dye job on the shirt.
